You are invited, by the Covenant Hospice Crew, to sail for the Sixth Annual Mask Parade Exhibit and Gala-love Boat style on Sat, March 22nd at 6 p.m. at the Edgewater Beach Resort.
The Mask Parade Gala features both live and silent auctions of stunning clay masks created by local artists as well as national celebrities, a full dinner and live entertainment from Todd Herendeen and the Follow That Dream Band. Covenant Hospice promises a globe-spanning one of a kind night of leisure cruising on the high seas as guests stroll down the lido deck enjoying vignettes of exotic locales, cultural dancers, fabulous lounge acts and much more.
There is something for everyone at the Mask Parade whether you are searching for a piece of art with deep figurative meaning and beauty or something whimsical and humorous. By night’s end, there are usually bidders on every mask – which is the decisive goal. The public is invited to attend an opening reception and guided walking tour of the Mask Exhibit at 3:00 pm, Friday, Feb. 29, 2008 beginning at the Visual Arts Center. Masks will be exhibited at participating downtown locations through March 22, 2008. There is no charge to attend.
