If you are consider attending the Panama City Beach Chamber of Commerce will hold its monthly Friday at the Beach breakfast at Bay Point Marriott Golf Resort & Spa, from 7:30 to 9:00 AM.

In partnership with Regions Bank and United Way of Northwest Florida, the Panama City Beach Chamber of Commerce will present “Live Good and Prosper,” a humorous and dramatic tale highlighting the personal health and wellness benefits of saving AND giving… two activities often considered incompatible.

“As our nation moves further into financial recovery there will most definitely be a trend toward saving. Many people anticipate such a trend hurting charitable giving,” states Michael Menk, city president of Regions Bank. “What one needs to remember, however, is the strength of charitable organizations such as United Way that arose out of the Great Depression as our ancestors found a way to still help others while rebuilding their own lives,” says Bryan Taylor, president of United Way of Northwest Florida. “If past performance is any indicator of how our local communities will respond, we will see businesses and individuals come forward and assist in any way they can,” Bryan continues.

Meanwhile, will “Spending Man” and his wreckless acts be defeated? Will “Saving Man” and “Giving Man” combine their powers and learn that yes indeed, they may coexist in peaceful harmony? Come see for yourself! Or simply come enjoy a light-hearted, yet serious message that will surely benefit all.
Friday at the Beach is designed to share ideas and opportunities that will affect the beaches area and local businesses. Each program presents community and business leaders in a casual, "face-to-face" setting. This event is open to the public at no charge, however RSVP is required to Lindsay@PCBeach.org, or call (850) 235-1159.
