Panama City Beach – New Restaurant in Historic St. Andrews

PANAMA CITY BEACH — The Shrimp Boat Restaurant on Beck Avenue in historic Panama City is scheduled to open in mid October. The restaurant is modeled after a 19th-century Cuban cigar factory, and also features two second-floor banquet rooms, Gracie Rea's Bar and Grille on the building's west end, and an adjacent St. Andrews Seafood Market with dockside and 12th Street entrances. The building's third floor holds Lowe's Lair, a two-bedroom penthouse suite which will be rented for special occasions.

The main Shrimp Boat restaurant will be open from 4 to 10 p.m. seven days a week, Smith said, with plans to start offering Sunday brunch in a few months. Gracie Rea's and the St. Andrews Seafood Market also will be open daily, with the bar and grill serving lunch and dinner.

A grand opening celebration will be held about a month after the soft opening.
The Shrimp Boat is approximately 10 miles from our Panama City Beach Condo. If you are fishing with Captain James Pic, plan on the Shrimp Boat for lunch. Pic operates out of the dock next door.

If you go let us know about the food and the atmosphere.
